1/2 Way to Sponsorship!!

We are THRILLED to be able to advertise on our RV... we have been given permission to put on the Pennies for Peace logo (check out penniesforpeace.org).  This just came in the week before we are schedule to leave, so we are very excited.  However, since P4P is a not-for-profit organization, RoadScholarz is doing the promo, pro-bono..  But it's all good!!  We will meet the P4P director in Evergreen, CO (where Mike and I coincidentally lived for 3 1/2 years).  And we will also go to Bozeman, MT where CAI is headquartered.  The funny part is our sign is magnetic.  Turns out, the RV isn't.  We had planned to put it on the back of the RV, so looks like for now it's on the door!  Plan B, industrial velcro...

Less than a week to go!

With only 6 days to go until we leave, the packing has begun!  I also went to the dentist office 4 times in 3 days to get all last minute fillings and cleanings done.  The kids are VERY excited, and we are looking forward to beginning our adventure.  Thanks for all your calls and support!

Maiden Voyage

The kids and I just did two nights at Santee Lakes to work out all the kinks.  We learned a lot and met some great people who helped me learn the ropes.
